Water Consumption and Pollution
As the population of the world has increased, there has been a steady rise in pollution and water consumption causing an increased strain on the already dire issue.
World Data
The maps on the left has data showing how the affordability of water effects the amount consumed around the world and in the United States.

Specific Data
This data shows the average household income and average water cost in different countries. The other graphic shows the top common types of toxins found in polluted water.

Relation to Auburn
Comparing the data to Auburn, Alabama. Including the increase of population and increase in water consumption in Auburn over the past 30 years. Also showing different spaces in Auburn that have the opportunity of using more bio-friendly lawns to help diminish the pollution and water usage.

Solution
Grass lawns require a large amount of water usage and often times need fertilizer and pesticides to prevent weeds from growing. The proposed solution is to have more diversity in lawns. With the correct plant life, natural fertilizer is created. This solution also requires less maintenance than the average grass lawn.
