Urban Planters

The goal with Urban Planters was to create a space that students and teachers wanted to use. This space needed to be versatile and available to many different types of people. The design needed to still flow within the original design of Dudley Hall.

Mission

Urban Planters final design idea was geometrically shaped planters, a conversation pit, and water features scattered throughout the space.

Purpose

The goal was to create space that would attract the students to the courtyard and encourage them spend more time in the courtyard while still allowing the flow of the space to not be obstructed.  Creating seating spaces throughout the conversation pit improves the use of the courtyard.

Vision
